Kansas City @ Dallas

No Ezekiel Elliott in this game as he serves his 6 game suspension. Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris will share carries in his absence. The Kansas City defense hasn’t been good this year but the loss of Elliott is a big loss as Dallas will lean more heavily on Dak Prescott. Kansas City 27-24

Buffalo @ NYJ

Buffalo improved to 4-0 at home with their win last week over Oakland. They are just 1-2 on the road though and lost last year on the road to the NYJ. Buffalo beat New York 21-12 in week 1 as they held New York to just 214 total yards. New York has lost 3 in a row but could’ve won all of them. NYJ 23-20

Atlanta @ Carolina

Atlanta has won the last 3 meetings with Carolina. This is Atlanta’s third straight road game. Keep an eye on the Carolina offense. They are ranked 23rd in scoring and they just traded their top receiver in Kelvin Benjamin. Atlanta 24-17

Indianapolis @ Houston

Deshaun Watson is tied for the league lead with 19 touchdown passes and Houston now leads the league in points scored while Indianapolis has allowed the most points in the league. Houston has won the last three meetings with Indianapolis. Make it four. Houston 34-17

Cincinnati @ Jacksonville

The Jacksonville defense leads the league with 33 sacks and have allowed the fewest points. Cincinnati struggled at home to beat a bad Indianapolis team and now face a rested Jacksonville team coming off a bye. Leonard Fournette is expected to play after missing his last game. Jacksonville 20-16

Tampa Bay @ New Orleans

It’s a matchup of one of the biggest surprises in New Orleans against one of the biggest disappointments so far in Tampa. Jameis Winston is coming off his worst game of the year as Tampa Bay lost their fourth straight. New Orleans is even playing good defense this year. These teams split the season series last year with each winning at home. Tampa is 0-3 on the road this year. New Orleans 28-23

I usually don’t like west coast teams traveling east for an early Sunday game but Los Angeles has a couple of impressive road wins this year in Dallas and Jacksonville. New York has struggled to score and had under 200 yards of total offense against Seattle in their last game. They get Sterling Shepherd back this week which should help. LAR 26-20

Baltimore @ Tennessee

These two teams will look to run the ball against each other. Joe Flacco should return after suffering a concussion last week. The Tennessee defense has held their last three opponents to under 300 yards of total offense while forcing 6 turnovers in their last three games. Tennessee 23-19

Denver @ Philadelphia

Denver has lost their last three games and Brock Osweiler will start in place of the benched Trevor Siemian. It won’t help this week against a Philadelphia defense that can put pressure on the quarterback. Denver has turned it over the second most times in the league. Philadelphia 23-14

Washington @ Seattle

Seattle has won four in a row behind an offense that has scored 40 or more points in two of those four games and they are 3-0 at home this year. Seattle 27-20

Arizona @ San Francisco

Arizona has won five straight against Arizona and beat them 18-15 this year. Both teams are at the bottom of the league offensively and defensively and both teams will be playing their backup quarterbacks. This game could be an ugly low scoring affair. Arizona 17-16

Oakland @ Miami

Miami is last in points scored and 31st in the league in rushing offense and have traded Jay Ajayi. Miami isn’t as good as their 4-3 record would indicate. They are coming off a 40-0 loss on the road in Baltimore. It’s the second time they’ve been shutout this year.Very important game for both teams.  Oakland 24-17

Detroit @ Green Bay

Green Bay has won their last three meetings with Detroit but that was with Aaron Rodgers. Brett Hundley threw for just 87 yards in place of Rodgers in week 7. They’ll need him to better this week. The bye week off should help. Detroit has lost 4 of their last 5 games so they are due for a win. Detroit 20-13

Record: Last week 8-5, Season 68-49
