Green Bay @ Dallas

It’s a rematch of last years playoff game which Green Bay won in Dallas 34-31. They also met in October in Green Bay and Dallas won 30-16. Ezekiel Elliott rushed for a combined 282 yards in those 2 games. Dallas has been average running the ball this year but Green Bay has struggled to stop the run so you have to think that’s the gameplan going in, especially considering how poorly the Dallas defense has played. Control the time of possession and keeping Aaron Rodgers off the field should be the goal. They missed linebacker Sean Lee in particular last week, and he’s questionable to play this week. Green Bay has injury issues on offense but Aaron Rodgers always finds a way to get it done. Green Bay 35-31

New England @ Tampa Bay

Hard to believe that only last month some were predicting an undefeated season for New England, now in Week 5 they are 2-2 with a ton of problems. They have the leagues worst defense and opposing quarterbacks are putting up big numbers through the air. Now they face Jameis Winston and Tampa’s 3rd ranked passing attack. Could be high scoring. I can’t see New England falling to 2-3. New England 34-28

Buffalo @ Cincinnati

Buffalo has been one of the leagues biggest surprises so far. Led by the leagues top defense, Buffalo is coming off impressive wins on the road in Atlanta and at home against Denver. They haven’t allowed 20 points in a game yet. Cincinnati has looked better the last two weeks. After a rough start to the season, Andy Dalton has thrown 6 touchdowns and no interceptions in the last 2 games. Cincinnati 20-17

 NYJ @ Cleveland

So much for tanking the season. The NYJ are 2-2 and now they’re back to playing good defense. After allowing over 400 yards in each of their first two games, the New York defense has held Miami to 255 and Jacksonville to 311. Deshone Kizer is struggling at quarterback for a Cleveland team that looks like the worst team in the league. NYJ 27-13

 San Francisco @ Indianapolis

San Francisco is improving after close losses to the LAR and Arizona. Indianapolis played a competitive first half in Seattle before struggling in the second half. San Francisco is due for a win. San Francisco 19-17

Carolina @ Detroit

Cam Newton and the Carolina offense was struggling until last week, that’s when they faced a bad New England defense and put up 33 points. This week things will get tougher against a much better Detroit defense. Detroit is one close, overturned call against Atlanta, from being 4-0. Detroit 23-20

Tennessee @ Miami

Tennessee beat Miami 30-17 last year. In that game, they held Jay Ajayi to 42 yards and the Miami offense to just 200 total yards. Miami has been outscored 40-6 in their last games and their offense is last in points scored. Tennessee might be without Marcus Mariota but hard to see how Miami can turn it around after playing in London last week and playing so bad. Tennessee 20-17

Both teams come into this game winless. New York can’t put together a complete game as their offense couldn’t score in the first two weeks and their defense couldn’t hold late leads in their last two games. Both defenses are struggling to stop the run. New York hasn’t run it well and could turn to rookie Wayne Gallman this week at running back after he impressed last week. Take the home team against the team traveling cross country. NYG 27-17

Arizona @ Philadelphia

There’s a lot of reasons I don’t like Arizona this week. Carson Palmer has taken a beating this year and has been sacked a league-high 17 times. Philadelphia has been good at putting pressure on the quarterback. Arizona has two wins this year against teams with a combined record of 1-7. Arizona is a one-dimensional team on offense. Philadelphia is playing really well. Philadelphia 24-13

Jacksonville @ Pittsburgh

Just when you thought it was time to trust Jacksonville, they lose on the road to the NYJ. Their defense has played well but they allowed over 250 yards rushing and now they face Le’Veon Bell. I trust Roethlisberger at home against Bortles. Pittsburgh 23-14

Baltimore @ Oakland

Oakland has beaten Baltimore in their last two meetings but that was with Derek Carr at quarterback. EJ Manuel is the quarterback this week for an Oakland team that has struggled to score the last two weeks. Baltimore has plenty of problems as well as they have scored just 16 points in the last two games while committing 6 turnovers. The lack of running combined with the loss of Carr really hurts Oakland. Baltimore 20-17

Seattle @ LAR

These teams split the season series last year and while Los Angeles scored just 12 points combined, they are a completely new offense this year. Not only are they 1st in points scored but Jared Goff is 8th among quarterbacks in yards passing. Los Angeles had their most impressive win of the year at Dallas last week. This will be their toughest defensive opponent they’ve faced so far. Seattle doesn’t play well on the road. LAR 27-24

Kansas City @ Houston

Houston scored 20 points in the first two games and 93 in the last two. Deshaun Watson has thrown 6 touchdowns in his last two games and Houston is coming off a dominant win over divisional rival Tennessee. Kansas City is the only unbeaten team left. Kansas City has won three out of the last four meetings with Houston. Watson will have a much tougher test this week against Kansas City. Kansas City 24-20

Minnesota @ Chicago

These teams split the season series last year with each team winning at home. Minnesota was playing without Sam Bradford and now they lost Dalvin Cook for the season. Chicago plays well at home, a close loss to Atlanta and a win over Pittsburgh. Mitch Trubisky gets the start at quarterback for Chicago. Minnesota 17-13

Record: Last week 8-8, Season 37-25
